HI friends, Today is the last blog of the year and the last day of 2013! This year has had many ups and downs in my personal life and business life. Just recently on Saturday December the 28th we had our Season 9 finale on The Saturday Night Ride Radio Show that I host. I have high hopes that 2014 is going to be a positive LIFE CHANGING year, filled with greatness! So I had surgery again on the 26th just 2 days before our season 9 finale...it was tough...not only because I am STILL recovering from the surgery but the same day a cousin of mine sadly died under some odd circumstances. The past few months have been the worst all year, I have had two beloved pets die this year, few friends and family member died also, As of lately I am finding out more and more of WHO is real and WHO is a fake friend. You see my friends there are plenty of people around me that pretend to care and such, when in reality they are just in my life for their OWN agenda. I have very very high intuition and I can see/feel much much more than these people even realize. I feel very underestimated and a bit hurt by the fake friendships...I assist many folks with a lot of different projects,businesses,individuals, and only a small handful are REAL when it comes to actually showing some appreciation of me. As far as my radio and hosting skills/talents go...I am NO LONGER afraid to express myself 100% and I now realize I DO have some talents to offer this dying world. Speaking of talent, Sunday January 5th 2014, Is my first audition of the year and I hope this is a precursor to whats to come. The parts that I will be auditioning for is for another childrens production, the pay is very very good...better than I expected i'll leave it at that lol. However this production will be a LIVE on stage project, not like the film I was in. I have been in many stage productions but not one that will be on a Tour, so if I do happen to get a lead role, I will be doing some traveling and Touring for the first time with a team of actors and crew. I will know next week if I got the part or not, either way I am thankful for getting the chance to audition already only 5 days into the new year. Another thing I have noticed this year 2013, Is about half/50% of ALL the so called friends I encounter weekly,daily,monthly, etc. Are fake to me! HALF of my so called friends are total fakes as being a friend! THIS not only hurts but pisses me off to the core...knowing I try my best with everyone and ALWAYS try to lend a helping hand if Im able...yet this 50% does not appreciate nor show it unless ofcourse I'm either promoting their agenda or doing something that pleases them. WELL I GOT NEWS FOR YOU FOLKS THAT FALL IN THIS 50% CATEGORY.....I ALREADY KNOW..who most of you are and I will slowly be weeding YOU ALL out of my life and my business endeavors. Out of this 50% of these vamps....there are a few that I got my EYE on.....I think YOU know who you are...with your passive aggressive behaviors towards me and my endeavors. A TRUE friend will support YOU no matter what, A TRUE friend will STILL be there for you even if you don't agree with their beliefs,faith, etc. NOW the FAKES/VAMPS they are only around when they need to suck off of you, whether it be for financial gain, material gain, or just to simply cause you more pain lol..Either way I am totally rooting out these type of individuals. When I up root YOU THE FAKES, YOU WILL KNOW IT! Moving on....This year of 2013 has been a good year in radio and 2014 looks to be even better, with more and more listeners tuning in each week to more listeners to the uncensored version of the radio show that airs on spreaker.com ..The Uncensored Version of The Saturday night ride radio show is not new actually...you see we began it in 2012 early; I do believe, but we had some creative differences with 2 cast members...well FORMER cast members now. Anyway we took a long break from the Internet uncensored version until the past month or so. The thing that is really starting to get under my skin is that We have had hundreds of plays yet most people that have tuned in are too Lazy to Click the follow button...NOW I am sure Most do not feel like creating a free account just to click the FOLLOW button...BUT THE ONES that claim to care about me and claim to like the Radio show have not clicked on FOLLOW not even a share  or comment ....This shows me either one of two things... one these type of folks are very FAKE and are only out for personal gain and are personal agenda pushers..OR total jealousy....there is absolute no other explanation for this sort of attitude/behavior. If you are supporting a friend or a friends endeavor for personal gain then do NOT offer it! I know this blog may sound angry, but honestly I am over being angry...yes a bit hurt inside but I'll live. It just really baffles me how people can be so SELF-Serving/selfish and not even notice it and if they do notice it...then YES TOTAL VAMPS! My former co-host was a vamp to me in many ways, I have forgave her not just because my Lord says to do so but to show her that I am REAL unlike her and many others the"50%" lol perhaps the "50%" will be the new title for these type of so called friends. I do want to take time to THANK YOU ALL FOR BEING SUCH DEDICATED READERS HERE! I really appreciate each of you for taking the time out of your lives to stop by and read whatever blog is current or even archived blogs. When I first began this blog I was not expecting to have so many readers, many are weekly readers and many are one timers that just stop by and read then on to the next persons blog. I have roughly 4K readers and at least 85% are my regulars so to speak. My readers here is just like my fans on the radio show..very diverse and come from all over the world and of all ages.....Very interesting to say the least. If you have any newyear's resolutions, I would like to hear them so send me an email. Soon I will be posting video blogs/Vlogs on here so that YOU & I can be more personable. Many changes are coming in 2014, Changes coming to My radio show, changes in 50% of my so called "friends", changes to my business projects, and a complete change of attitude and mindset to where I am going to be very assertive or even flat out mean if I have to be...of course I don't like to treat anyone badly, that is why it bothers me soooo much to see it done to others and to have others treat me like a second class species. Not to sound like im full of myself BUT I do know What gifts and talents i do have and I am not wasting them anymore on people who DO NOT deserve shit from me! Ok that sounded angry again didnt it? lol...perhaps I am still a bit angry at these type of people. Shifting gears.....Tonight for new years eve, I will spend it with family & loved ones...I don't drink alcohol and I don't like bars so I think spending tonight with loved ones is a smart idea. To those of YOU that plan on drinking tonight PLEASE be careful and have a SOBER DRIVER! Drunk driving isn't just dangerous but STUPID all the way. Well My friends I want to wish YOU all a VERY HAPPY NEW YEAR!      Hi Friends, I hope all who celebrated had a wonderful holiday season this year. I spent most of my time with family, friends and loved ones. For Christmas eve, we celebrated at my parents home. It was priceless watching my little nephew as he opened his gifts..his eyes would open wide with every present he opened. He also knows the TRUE meaning of celebrating this holiday and I personally think that is way more important than ANYTHING else. On Christmas day the family celebrated at my aunt's estate in the countryside. It was very nice to see my grandparents, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. The food was great also too lol. Then on December 26th (yesterday) at 5:00a.m. I had to have yet another urology surgery, so yes I am still in recovery mode and still in a lot of physical pain. I woke this morning feeling horrible as expected, finally was able to make it to the kitchen for some coffee. I had a lot of work to do today.....most was for the radio show and other works that I will announce soon. I did however get another audition notice today for a stage production that is approx;10-15 shows per week for 10 weeks IF I get the part. I am unable to audition tomorrow due to surgery recovery and prepping for the last radio show of 2013. The casting director is kindly working around my schedule so that I may audition. That is not normal of a casting director, so I am very thankful that this particular one is ever so gracious to me. She is also one of the top casting directors in the mid-west. Moving on.....earlier today as I was preparing my script for the Saturday Night Ride radio show uncut, (internet version of the show) on spreaker.com and SOON iHeartRadio....so I was at the end of prepping getting ready to broadcast and then I got a call from a family member letting me know that one of my 22 year old cousins had Died last night......needless to say this shook me to my core....yet another reality reminder of what is truly important in life and how much WE ALL need to appreciate each day we are allowed to live... it really made me wonder if this would WAKE other people of ALL AGES up to appreciating their lives, or will they stay the same way, ungrateful and unappreciate life. All of us has to make some clear decisions about who we are and what we want in this life. As well, consider there is always a certain amount of time wasted each day that could be used for positive fruitful activities of meaning. So, what is it that crops up in life that bothers me? The issue of not living for today, comes from wishing things were different, and hoping that the next pinnacle, milestone, or material possession will create the happiness so longed for.
The big problem with this kind of thinking and attitude is one that expresses dissatisfaction/being unhappy of where you are now; in other words, having an attitude that is more about being dissatisfied than being satisfied. It means that this type of person cannot appreciate the moment; cannot find value or appreciate where they are today; and, cannot be happy living with what they have today. Instead they wish that everything change right now so they can have what they want, when they want it, without having to wait, work, or sacrifice. Most americans that I know want a "microwave" life, they want it quick no matter what precious energy they may lose.
Maybe, for those  parents in this new age, have spoiled the children too much? I asked myself... Maybe we have given them all those things that we didn't get as children and in doing so have gone too far? Part of the reason for this self-serving attitude may be our fault through our material expression of love. There are adults that have the same attitude not just kids.
One of the things that I see to be lost with people or those who seek to live tomorrow instead of today, is that each day is precious. Each day can be full of new delights, new beginnings, new fun, new experiences, new challenges, and new opportunities etc.
We ALL have only one day at a time to live. There is only a certain amount of time in each day and it is up to YOU to do with it the best you can. The worst we can do is to waste it by wishing and hoping for things in the future and thinking that this wishful future will be able to make us whole and happy. The real happiness of life is how you see and use each day I think anyway, not what you think will be beyond today. This is not to say that we shouldn't have aspirations for future goals. What I am saying, though, is that EVERYONE needsto value each day and each other for what it offers, for what it gives you and to stop wishing/wasting your life away. There are thousands upon thousands of people who wish they could go back in time to do just what you can do now if only you see the real picture. My HOPE for you is that by reading this little blog it will remind you or make YOU start to appreciate each day good and bad,I know easier said than done, but atleast TRY. I know friends this blog isn't super interesting but it's my blog and this is what's on my mind and heart to share with you all. I have noticed YOU ALL; meaning my readers....I started this BLOGSPOT with just one maybe a few blogs way back in Feb. 2011 or 2012(dont remember lol) I started blogging full force in march 2013 and since then I have watched the number of readers skyrocket...more than I ever ever anticipated. Whats even more interesting is the wide array of locations in which YOU all are reading from. I not only have readers here in America, but well over 20 other nations and even in other languages. As of now I have readers in Russia, China, Malaysia, South Africa, Uganda, Kenya, Japan, Indonesia, Israel, Qatar, South Korea and many more. These are just a few that have large numbers of readers. I believe I have close to 4000 readers already yet ONLY 13 official followers lol, I think a big part of that is People want to just simply read and enjoy NOT go through making an account and such just to click "follow" and that is OK with me friends. I am thankful beyond words for EACH ONE OF YOU! Now on Spreaker.com simply search my name" Dennis Kelly" and Please click follow....YOU WON"T have to make an account on there, but you may listen to me and the uncut version of the mainstream radio show I host. I noticed there have been many listeners on the Spreaker.com platform yet most are either too lazy to simply click follow or too prideful. From the DESK 12-3-2014




      Greetings Friends! Hope all is well with you ALL, I have been super busy here lately, with the holidays, family events, private events, the radio show, and my personal life...phew trust me it's a lot lol, speaking of being busy...very very soon I plan a small getaway for a few days. I am thinking of a nice cozy cottage in the Forest that I know of and have retreated there several times before. The place this time of year is very tranquil and peaceful but most importantly is the silence. All you hear is pure nature...the wide array of birds singing and chirping throughout the morning and day, the water as the small waves crash against the clifts. It is a lake not the ocean lol just so you know...but a big lake so good enough I suppose until I can make a trip back to the gulf or pacific....anyway Yes I plan on getting away soon tor recharge myself and just take a well needed BREAK! So this new getting back on spreaker.com thing with the radio show has become a challenge and I am bound and determined to make it work and be picked up by iheartradio...as of so far we  have completed about 75% of what they asked of us so we are on our way and I have faith we will be picked up by them. Moving on...Recently I got my F.o,i,d, card( fire owners identification card) to own a gun. So I have been gun shopping and found what I thought was perfect...not! I finally was able to test it yesterday at a local shooting range, which by the way was my first time EVER at a shooting range lol...anyway I got my gear on safety glasses and ear protecting muffs, I loaded the little .22 Magnum handgun(chrome in color with a rosewood handle, was pretty) So I finally shot it about 8 times before the bottom chamber(had two chambers,fired 2 at once) didn't shoot the ammo out and it kept doing it that...so my Intuition strongly kicked on and I instantly stopped using it, so then with the owner of the range being a world class marksmen and a State Trooper, I told and showed him the issue. He examined the gun and told me it was very unsafe and He was suprised the ammo didn't blow up inside the barrel while I was holding it! Needless to say I returned it yesterday afterwards and got a .32 Auto instead. I like the way the gun looks but thinking I am going to try to go with a 9mm pistol instead for many reasons. So today when I went to the range to shoot the .32 (holds 6 rds) I shot for awhile and it was actually a lot of fun and I have NEVER been a gun person so to speak. But I messed up by after shooting a round, while I was reloading the mag, i took my ear muffs off and when I went to shoot again forgot to put them back on until the first shot and my left ear started to ring. So now ever since my ear has been feeling super odd like I am hearing through a funnel or something. Hopefully it will be gone by 2moro :-) Moving on to the blog i prepared late last night. I wrote on this topic for many reasons, I am an observer, a people watcher by nature and examine everything about them without even realizing it lol. One thing I have noticed over the past few years is not only many very KNOWLEDGEABLE young people being underestimated due to their age. I think that is just flat out rude and wrong, I have dealt with this many times and still do every once in a while and it's not only frustrating but a bit hurtful..so if you are over the age of 40 and reading this blog...give us/the young people with knowledge and gifts, a chance...YOU might acutally learn from them or vice versa :-) Moving on...  I have noticed people in our society love things and use people. People are used to getting places in life and some in many easy ways , climbing ladders, and selling and buying stuff,needless stuff or too much. Things,People, Celebs, even the kids, are what most people fantasize about and sought after in the same greedy ways.  Most of us Westerners live with more, but have much in the materialistic sense/realm and increasingly less in the spiritual and emotional sense/realm. We may have flashy new cars, nice homes, a boat, the latest tablets or PCs, and lots of technological gadgets and other stuff. More than we'd ever use half the time in our lives. Or if we do use them all, there's less time left for doing 'internal' work with ourselves or relating ,helping, and communicating peacefully with people which is way more important. Not only do we love things but we tend to use people. Our closest relationships are typically there for us, and for our disposal, which isn't a good idea unless it is toxic and unfixable for you. We all love our spouses, kids, and families but how often do we sell them out to/for our own needs? Has being kind of selfish been a starter for a arguement? Ask yourself that and think about it and chances are we all have done it at one point. Even those at work, colleagues and acquaintances, where they may try to mentally conceive where they might manipulate a discussion, meeting or relationship to serve their own purposes -- for instance, to be heard, promoted, etc. The final straw is where the selfish behavior of using people reaches the lowest standard, where many  people are consistantly abused wholesale for making innocent mistakes, being too nice or generou, and yet we try and gain a fractional advantage by swapping lanes incessantly.Sick...Do I sound harsh? Perhaps. There is no doubt there are many people who have the balance the other way, the right way, around. That is to put people first and utilize things as required. "Love people, use things" could be the motto.
What should we do to reinforce the motto?
Love People:
- Listen to people and be patient with them.
- Be prepared to lose the odd battle for the greater benefit of the team (or family).
- Give more than you receive.
- Say sorry often when you make mistakes and mean it.
- Give people the best resource you can give them; your time and Love. Now that's a good investment!
- When you're out in the world, respect and care about  fellow human beings, especially people you don't know.
Use Things:
- Resist the love of things. Stop materialism in its NOW.
- Reject "retail therapy" as a poor excuse it is.
- Be thankful for the things you've accumulated but don't worship them.
- Don't waste the resources available to you; respect them appropriately and appreciate what you DO have.
- Try sharing your things with other people, and even give them away if they serve you no valid purpose anymore.
No one would admit to not loving their families or friends as much as their stuff, materialism,ego, etc,, but this is a firm challenge for each one of us to get the balance more into the "love people, use things" life pattern. If we do this we can also tap into the reservoir of our own psyche to not only become a better person, but become more balanced and more spiritual at the same time. It just irritates me thinking about people like this.

Living in the moment?

   

    Hello Friends, Good evening, Good Morning, Good Afternoon, wherever you may be reading this from I wish you a great day/night. It has been very cold here in the region in which I reside. My life is always eventful, good and bad. I have much to tell you but will only touch base a small bit for now. Today was actually sunny and clear yet still COLD, I literally despise the cold weather lol. Last night I attended a local holiday event and even did some broadcasting for the radio show from the event. The radio show that I host seems to be having a growth spurt with listeners and such across the globe. This is a good thing, this not only shows me that I have a wide array of fans but also helps to motivate me to keep on hosting the show.  I am touching base randomly due to the fact I have a lot of info stored up inside lol. Recently I have come in contact with an Akashic record reader. This woman I wont mention by name out of respect, but I will say this the Woman is now going to be a guest on my show and she is 100% genuine in her works. After speaking with her I could instantly see a very fruitful and great friendship with this like minded woman. She did read my record as I requested, I will not go into detail on what my records said but will in the near future. Most people do not know what the Akashic records are or don't understand the concept. But I will say this before I move to the blog prepared for you....certain things she said to me during our chat was beyond understanding with the "human" mind but my spirit knew EXACTLY what she was saying. In conclusion,do yourself some research on Edgar Cayce and the Akashic Records...do ALL of this with an OPEN mind...don't judge, just read and research. Moving on...the blog I have written for you is my personal opinions on Living in the moment so to speak.
    Every one of us born into this world obviously has a purpose in life that has to be fulfilled. There today, and gone tomorrow. There is very little time left with us on this dying planet. I believe that in this limited time we do have left, something Positive, fruitful, and worthwhile needs to be done. I think the important thing here is to realize your purpose of life, and that every other person who you might look at, meet, talk to, scorn at, hate, love,  or even completely despise has his/her own purpose(s) in life; and that person has set out to achieve it. WE are NOT to question/ridicule/ undermine his/her abilities to realize their dreams or be a stumbling block either. I know there are times when you may feel low, depressed, let down, betrayed, disappointed, failing to reach the expectations/goals you set for yourself. Those times can be very rough and tough for the mentally frail. But the sheer inspiration derived by telling oneself that he/she is on this part of the universe to achieve something can help bail YOU out of the tough times. It seems most people are living a life for others, ever enclosed and enslaved by social dogma,society, the system, etc. Most of the time we may not even realize what we are here for.. Life in this day and age, has become so very monotonous and routine that we hardly think of what we truly want to be or do with our lives. It is when we transcend the limits of this materialistic world/realm, and set out on the path to self-discovery and acceptance. Here are a couple of ways of looking at life...some ways that I find helpful personally anyway lol.
One way is to TRY to live every day as if it were YOUR last day of life. Think about it this way; If today were the last day of your life, what would you want to do? Would you be happy doing that?" That way, most would see to it that the best things are done on that day. Another way I suggest, is to look at everyday as the first day of the remainder of your life. Leave all the hurt, heartaches and such from your past behind. And realize that the future is yet to be explored. This way you feel/see that your whole new life is out there, just waiting for you, to be lived and enjoyed to the fullest!! Many goals to be achieved, plans to be made, people to be loved and finally goals to be achieved! Either way is good, because we make our day better even if for just the day...Seize the Day! And lastly someday, death happens; irrespective of whether we have achieved our purpose(s) or not. Death is a very common destination that all of us share. Every beginning should have an end; every rise, a fall; every positive, a negative; every yin, a yang; every baritone, a soprano; perhaps to restore the balance back in the system. Death can be a huge motivator in making you do what you truly want to do. All egos, pride, embarrassment, anger, guilt, hate,diversity,etc. vanishes in the face of death; leaving only what is most essential. Death, actually is a cardinal rule I'd say. Friends, realizing one's true self-worth is definitely an essential purpose of life!

Just a lil random rant...





Hello friends, It has been a busy and cold day to say the least. So I am in high hopes to get this insurance crap situated soon so It stops slowing my schedule down and causing more stress than needed. Lately I have been doing a lot of self-reflecting, I have noticed how I haven't had a Miracle lately...call me crazy but they really do occur, small and large. I with my personal belief system give credit to my creator. However I respect YOU that have other belief systems. We are all still brothers and sisters on this earth. Now most if not all of this blog is directed to the fundamentalist Christians and Believers in Christ. I am pointing out how a GIGANTIC portion DO NOT believe in Miracles....to me miracles are normal and should be expected if one truly claims to be a christian according to the Holy bible...Im not here to bash whatsoever I wanna make that CLEAR friends. I usually don't blog about my faith but today I am pointing out something I have personally noticed through the years when I actually attended a church on a regular basis. I had noticed at many of the churches I had went to they almost all did not speak of MIRACLES, with me personally miracles from my creator is not unusual but feels normal. Anywhoot, so these local churches that I had visited mainly preached on two main things MONEY and SIN....now sin, yea that is ok sometime...we all need a good peptalk...but MONEY and when all the services at the churches seemed to be built on digging in the pockets and constantly pointing out personal flaws instead of building one up...This is when I realized I can worship and have time with my Father without going to some "Church Show" I call it that because that is what they all were just like a play you go watch except YOUR apart of it lol, NOW don't get me wrong there are A Lot of GOOD fruitful, spirit filled churches out there....just be careful of WHICH spirit that church may be operating under. I think an open mind is a must to receive miracles and an open heart, but I think it begins with an open MIND first.
Every Christian/Believer, is at some point affected by church traditions and cultures. Depending on denominational or church backgrounds, we will have different concepts of miracles. This Even goes for other religions that believes in miracles, you still need to have an OPEN mind about it. Many Fundamentalists and even some believers, do not all study the bible by ourselves. Most of the time, we depend upon our elders, bible teachers and "godly" leaders to show us what they THINK the bible says. We make the assumption that they are more knowledgeable than we are and so we simply trust what they have taught. This can be very dangerous in my opinion, Can be good and very fruitful the RIGHT WAY...the Fruits of the Spirit is the KEY to finding the right Spiritual Leader, I personally believe.
Many church traditions have their positive aspects but some of these are producing negative and damaging results. Therefore, it is not whether my church tradition/belief system is better than yours or vice versa. The key is to find out which aspects of  traditions are in line with what the word says about Miracles as well as knowing in your spirit what is right. It is dangerous to simply take things for granted. Man is not perfect.

From The Desk OCT: 7th 2013


Hello Friends, It has been a super long day full of appointments and meetings. I think I drove a total of 200 miles altogether in just a few hours...phew long day lol. So I am touching base on TOXIC people again due to a blog I found wrote by my FORMER Radio show Co-host "JOY" is her/it's name. Not only did she fill her blog full of lies but also slandered me without mentioning my name, but anyone with a brain knows who she is speaking of. I have kept my mouth shut long enough about this Vampire named Joy T. YES I said it JOY T. That's her Dandy Dandy name that We shall call her. My Point....I helped this woman a lot...and in many many ways from financial help, mentoring, giving her a fiance even,  and even got her a position on the international radio show I host that has worldwide listeners. I not only put my own professional reputation on the line for her but also I put my personal life on hold so to speak to help her in any way she needed, including helping her and the fiance I introduced her to; into getting them a New place to live. I am not here to bash her like she deserves, but I sure will tell the real TRUTH about JOY T. She had the nerve to call me an energy vamp and many other horrible things in a private message today....at first I was pissed off really bad but after much prayer and meditation..I forgive her but I won't forget just how devious and FAKE she is. Lastly She even had the nerve before I fired her from the show, to attempt to ruin a great friendship that I have with two awesome people that edit/publish a great magazine....SHE made up some horrid things about them and ALL THEY did was offer her kindness and compassion and even work. Nevertheless this is all I will say about JOY T. unless she really wants to see the other side of me that would make her run for the hills with her 8ft tall legs lol....yes I am being a bit harsh and yes I know thats not right but you know what....One person can only handle SO much before they finally let loose. Now I have broken down TOXIC People into five categories....I've tried my best to be as descriptive as possible...Sorry for the rant lol...Moving on...
1. "Dirt Diggers" - 
These people store up a lot of resentment, bitterness and suffering. They feel satisfaction every time they tell you a snide remark about something in the past that they blame you for - regardless if this something is true or not. And if you have somebody like that in your life, then you know that they never miss a chance to "remind you" how bad, wrong, not good enough you are, every time they speak to you. In this way they feel superior. Something that they never had earned or never could have earned any other way. To protect yourself from them, simply find an ADULT debate/ argument that states the facts and the real truth for every situation that they dig up about you and don't leave them with the last word on any subject.
2." Greedy Backstabbers"
Unfortunately, they can't make it on their own to the top, can't be the center of attention in the family or the heart of the company in a friendly circle, and they know it. So, their success strategy in life is: pull down the competition. One way or another, they see everyone as their competition and this is how you will easily recognize them. They make up stories and spread lies for just about everyone in their circle, including themselves. Just that the lies they make up for themselves are flattering for them and the lies towards others are not flattering for the target. They thrive only when they involve everyone around them to believe that their make believe benevolent, peaceful, and virtuous persona is their true color. When in Reality it is total opposite.
3. " Black Holes"
Have you ever felt "the negative presence" of someone else? I know I have felt it many times around certain people. You live your life happy and hopeful, making plans and dreaming out loud. Then, you have the misfortune to spend time with somebody who cuts your wings every time you want to fly. They don't just criticize, they tell you in the face that "You can't do it!"  whatever you are up to. So you end up defending your dreams, convincing them that yes, you can succeed and do whatever you put your mind towards, over and over again. In the end, you start thinking: Maybe they are right. Maybe I can't do it, I am not cut out for this. And this is the moment when the last drop of positive energy is drained from you. Like a black hole, they don't have great ideas, and plans for the future. That's why they take yours. But don't dive back. So, start mental/ psychic protection rituals, and or PRAYERS OF PROTECTION daily. I know that I daily pray for a hedge of protection around me and my family.
4." Haters"
They just can't stand someone else to have more than them, or what they want. They hate it when someone in their environment is popular, wealthy, has nice things and nice friends. They don't like fair competition or investing in yourself to succeed. You will recognize them when they do something "innocently cruel" and then pretend that they were just joking. They fancy being superior so they just declare it and make their top priority to ruin your life so that there's no evidence that someone else can be better than them. For some reason.....hate propaganda for people and causes are very popular in recent years but not a very happy place to be in or around.
5.  "Victims"
They are always the victim of others, of circumstances, of their environment. Always bad things happen to them and there needs to come a "knight in shining armor" and save them. Needless to say, some of those skillful "poor me" manipulators are men and women and they wait for the Powerful, Gifted, people to take them under an arm and take care of them. What they do is: blow up smoke in your face with complaints, half-truths and excuses why it was never their fault, never their responsibility and always someone else or something else is to be blamed. If they target you, just like con men, they have an agenda and want something from you - your power, your position, your contacts, your money. If you can't run away, find out the tricks they use when lying and avoid their traps. 
All of the above kind of people I mentioned need to shipped off to a remote island so they can ALL Vamp and feed on eachother...I highly recommend RUN FOR THE HILLS from folks like this...and MY former so called "co-host" fits the above 100% and folks who know her and the situation will understand. Now I did not want to have to blog about this certain Vamp but I felt it is well needed after the needless attack on me today from her. Name is Joy but should be named "Gloom"

CAN YOU DEFINE APPRECIATION? SEPT. 10TH 2013

Hello Friends, It's bright and early this sept. morning...hot coffee on, sun peeking out and a nice morning breeze coming through the windows..it's the little things and moments that I appreciate. Most mornings that I wake up in pain, I STILL appreciate waking up alive with breathe in my lungs. Nowadays it seems people in general do not appreciate life or even others for that matter. Do something nice for someone and at least half the time the person looks at you like your crazy. Being Nice and appreciating others doesn't seem to be a thing of today and that's really bothersome. So my blog topic today is about APPRECIATION
          Maybe you're already in a position where you are absolutely satisfied with your life. That is a wonderful position to be in. Maybe you're not satisfied & you feel that life has cheated you or that maybe even looked over you. That's okay for now but what you may not realize is that before life can deal you a better hand you must first appreciate what you already have.
Here is what I mean:
o Be thankful that you have a roof over your head.
o If you have a job - be thankful that you are currently employed.
o If you have a business - be thankful that you are your own boss.
o If you have been blessed with children - be thankful for that you were able to have them.
o Be thankful for what the food that you get to eat every day.
o If you're in a relationship appreciate your partner's good qualities & be thankful for that.
o Be thankful just for being alive.
Be Thankful for others that do NICE things for you
It doesn't matter how bad you think life is right now because there are many people who would gladly step into your shoes at any given time. No matter how little you think you have there is always someone somewhere who has a lot less and a lot worse. If you disagree with me no big deal, but why not try this appreciation thing out for 3 days Myself is trying the same little 3 day test so to speak. For the next I challenge YOU for 3 days, appreciate all that you have. Look around where ever you might be & acknowledge your position in life.Look at all the beauty that nature provides you, the wind, the sun, the moon, the stars at night and so much more... Then when ever you look at what you have say thank God for the abundant blessings that I do have. If you can keep this kind of mindset going for the next 3 days you will most likely start to see some kind of sign or change of better things to come. If you have already been appreciating everything in your life for some time, give yourself a hug. You don't have to believe a word I say but don't knock it until you try it.... what if it works? Well my friends moving on...one thing out of a million that motivated me to write this blog was a recent fundraiser benefit for MS/Multiple Sclerosis. I hosted/ Emceed the event and realized even more that I too personally need to appreciate LIFE in general more. We only have one chance, one life, APPRECIATE WHAT YOU GOT. Do YOU have any VALUE??

                                 VALUE WHO YOU ARE!


Hello Friends, My apology for not getting this blog issue up sooner. I have been super busy in the world of "Dennis" lol. This month has flew by just as the entire year seems to be doing. Today I would like to discuss something ALL of us need...SELF WORTH/VALUE....Yes that's right did you know you are worth something...YOU are priceless...no matter what your situation is. I often battle with this also...with my highly stressful life and health issues...sometimes I forget my own self-value. But NOT today my friends, lets think about who you are, including your dreams,we know all this will not be more important to someone else as YOU will be to you. Yes, you are the only one who will have a vested genuine interest in your life and in your dreams. Many times we want others to value us, we want them to consider us important to their lives and we want them to take an interest in our dreams. But, not everyone is going to be for you, so they won't care about you and your dreams. Therefore it is up to you to VALUE yourself, know who you are and ending the need for others to be for you always, to know you and to see you as important. Sometimes the only time someone will have a vested interest in you is when they are looking for their own gain. They are looking to use you or what you have to offer for their own purpose.
When you are not looking to use others and capitalize off their success you won't even recognize when others are doing it to you. Once you figure them out it may be too late. You may have invested a lot of time and emotion and such in them. This is why it is important to have a high value on yourself so that you have a deep strength to fall back on once you have figured out their intentions. Sadly, there are many individuals who USE people and VALUE things. They value their car, their job, their station in life, but yet they turn around and take people for granted. Because they are only in this life for themselves, they never see how their intentions and actions can affect those around them. They block themselves from having any feelings of empathy for others and they will leave a path of pain and destruction and such in their wake. And of course when they are unable to get anything more from you, when they are done with you, they won't think twice about moving on to the next person.
Encountering these individuals in your life can take a lot out of you emotionally. I call these types "emotional Vamps"  Even if your life may not have prepared you for those individuals, there is a way to counteract their fangs so to speak. Learn to VALUE yourself and don't wait on someone else to validate you. When you depend on others to validate you, you leave yourself open to their emotional state. If they are emotionally immature and you don't value yourself, it is easy for their neurosis to enter your mind and leave you feeling very insecure, hurt, and angry with yourself that you will beat up  yourself for giving them room to even be in your life. There are many spiritual folks, including myself, that will tell you that we attract a WIDE array of people good and bad. Although we are mirror images of each other that does not mean that a person's intent/actions should be acceptable in our lives. Many folks have emotional issues that originated in their childhood perhaps, that came as a result of  early caretakers. Then they were conditioned and programmed socially. Then they grow up to be Adults. There are many individuals who continue to be who they were programmed and conditioned to be in their childhood. They never took the time to take a closer look at their lives and at themselves to see where they need to grow. To make matters worse if they are still living in the same environment that they grew up in they may have never seen the need to change. It may never have crossed their minds. Everyone around them is the same way and the need to change and the pressure to conform will make it difficult for them to grow. They may not realize that for them to grow, they need to extricate themselves from the environment that is familiar. Many individuals are so afraid of walking away from the only people they have ever known that they decide to remain in that environment even if it is sucking the very life out of them. Remember, no one likes change and if they see you changing and growing they may feel threatened. Their way of life, their way of thinking is being challenged. You are forcing them to take a look at their life and at their unhappiness. They may have been living that way forever and they have become comfortable with what it is. Now here you come along talking about growing, expanding and moving up. Of course they are going to try and stop your growth. They are going to criticize you, they are going to try and cut you down. They are going to blame others who they may think is influencing you. Misery does love company. Becoming a leader, whether it's leading others or leading ourselves, we need to be strong enough to go against the crowd when/if needed. We need to be strong enough and believe in ourselves enough to stand alone. Not everyone is going to be for you, remember that. They may think that by you growing you are leaving them behind. That may be true, because if they are not growing you can't afford to let them slow or sway your growth. They may have been use to you being insecure, needy, clingy and unhappy and you may have needed them during that time. They may even think that is who you are, so your healing and growing threatens them because they no longer feel needed. BUT, you need to VALUE yourself and your growth even when others don't. Your emotional and mental health is very important. You are not going to be able to help everyone, and sometimes not even the ones you love. If they don't want the help or they may resent it coming from you, there is nothing you can do for them, except keep sending them love, prayers, and healing energies. Don't allow those that don't value you, to prevent you from reaching out and being there for those who do truly need and value what YOU have to offer this world. But make sure you are helping others because you want to help them and not because you are looking for them to value or validate you. Value and Love yourself first, strengthen your core self, it is then that you can be emotionally healthy and strong to be there to help others in need. I personally think many of us do not realize the importance of Loving ourselves and seeing the true high VALUE that each of us have. Take today to LOVE and VALUE yourself, for who YOU really are...love the good, bad, and the ugly...LOVE AND VALUE YOU! YOU are special and unique and valuable in YOUR own ways. Don't let this ignorant world bring you to the point of feeling worthless, because you are NOT by any means worthless...you are of great VALUE! Well my Friends I hope this blog today made some sense and perhaps helped someone out in this big world. STRESS ANYONE?? :-)

Hello Friends! World wide..I say world wide because my insights show what nations my readers are reading from. I must say I am deeply thankful for all the nations that take the time to read my personal blogs. Special thanks just to name a few are the U.S., Russia, Germany, Kenya, Uganda, Slovakia, France, and quite a bit more. For those I have not named I still appreciate YOU ALL equally. So Lately in the Life of ME, On this past tuesday about 4 days ago I under went another Surgery that had to do with the urology system. I am now at home recovering. The surgery was a bit tough this time around but nevertheless GOD willing I made it through. Now...the recovery process is the hardest to me. But I am recovering very well and I am thankful for that. The more rest and time I take for myself, the faster I notice I heal. Also reducing STRESS which is actually the TOPIC of this blog. I wanted to blog about STRESS because every human can relate to it one way or another. AS most of you know it's well known stress is a killer and can cause sooo much unneeded crap. Have you ever been completely stressed about something? I mean, worried beyond repair about a situation or a decision you have to make. I've been there before many times and, let me tell you, it is not a pretty thing. I still deal with daily high levels of stress due to personal life, work life, family, society, and all kinds of triggers. Sometimes occasionally I feel stress is actually killing me. But I have learned several ways to help calm, and collect during overwhelming stressful moments. Deep breathing helps to calm, but personally I have found YOGA, talking to loved ones and friends. Or just sometimes taking a walk in the forest...nature is provides great therapy. I won't go into ALL my Stressors in this blog because now is not the time but perhaps someday I will spill it lol. We all know Stress has a sneaky way of taking over your thoughts and your body and Your LIFE for that matter. Just to give you a brief overview of what I have learned and studied about stress is  the physiological changes you experience when you are stressed out, you can have such physical reactions as elevated heart rate, low energy, headaches, upset stomach, rapid heart beat, insomnia, depression,  and a whole slew of other nasty little problems. But, I'm sure you already know that. Given the fact that 85% of all adult Americans are walking around in a stressed-out state, we are very familiar with the effects of stress, whether we realize it or not want to admit it. So what are we to do about it? What are our options? Some things, like environmental factors are beyond our control. And if these things are part of your triggers for stress, you can do very little about them. But then there are other things that we can do something about, such as finances, children, work, etc. You just have to know how to separate the two categories and act accordingly. If things fall into the "out of my control" category, then you take a deep breath, and plan as best you can and then you let it go. If you truly can't do anything about it, then there is absolutely no reason for you to place your body in a stressful situation. A lot of our stressors fall into this category and yet we still want to continue to worry about them. This is a mistake on our part because helplessness combined with stress leaves you feeling utterly hopeless. Trust me I would be the FIRST to know lol...If your stressors fall into the other category, meaning you can do something about them, then it is always better to attack the problem head on I personally feel. You feel empowered the more you attack the issue(s) (i do anyway) versus shrinking back from it and hiding or masking it with an addicition of sorts. Have you noticed how much more confident and better you feel when you finally do that THING you've been putting off forever because it stressed you out? This same feeling can happen with most, if not all of our stressors as long as you don't give rise to the procrastination issue. Procrastination and apathy has caused more people to be stressed out than any other action from what I have seen and went through. I have seen evidence of this in my own life countless times. I think trying our BEST to be and think positive about EVERY situation is a key also even though it is easier said than done, it is possible. I personally think if we ALL  Decide once and for all to stop procrastinating and to get things done. Even if you/we don't have it all figured out at the moment at hand, begin to act on what you do know and what you do know how to do. Because when you begin to attack that portion of the project or decision, we may eventually get the ANSWERS  that will begin to develop along the way and change our lives for the better. Sometimes the best way to get over stress is to just act. I know that Life will always have stressors...BUT it does NOT mean WE should or have to live in a total state of stress or even become so overwhelmed with it to the point of actual harm to our lives. The Event was The Graffiti Car Show...It was hot and lots of people but I enjoyed it. It is the little things in life that make up the BIG things. I also had a chance to Record a few local musicians playing their original song titled "Elly Mae" and they actually got a chance to sing it to her. I recorded it at the Owl Creek Gazette Office on south second st. in downtown Greenville,Il  If you would like to catch that episode where I broadcasted from the event you can catch it on our friend radio show "Creekside w/Don&Jan" It airs every Sunday evening at 7:00p.m. central time on podomatic. Do you have any faith...YES you do!

 


Simple Definition of Faith: is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.


Hello Friends! I pray and hope ALL is well with each and everyone of you. Things in my world as of lately have been very hectic to say the least lol. So the Radio interview I did with The Anti-War Activist Cindy Sheehan went very good, probably one of the smoothest shows I have done thus far.
The following day on Sunday the 26th of May I attended the Monthly PEACE VIGIL courtesy of the wonderful folks of the OWL CREEK GAZETTE MAGAZINE. The Peace Vigil went great, lots of diverse, interesting people attended and of course I had to bring my lil teacup Rex along lol. Cindy and Her team attended the Vigil also. NONE of this would have been possible if it were not for Don and Jan Stover the Editors/Publishers of The Owl Creek Gazette Magazine, for it was them that not only provided a way for Cindy and her Tour de Peace to come here but they also connected myself with her and the Tour de peace team. So BIG THANKS AND HUGS TO DON AND JAN STOVER!
www.owlcreekgazette.com Moving on to the topic of this blog, as you probably already guessed it is about FAITH...above is a simple definition of what faith is...now Some of YOU may say you don't have faith...well here is a generic example of faith in action....Say every morning when you wake..you use the restroom and the toilet flushes properly....Well without realizing it YOU used faith...YOU had faith that the toilet would flush proper after use. Or without hesitation Most of us jump in our vehicles expecting them to start right? OK then That's another generic example of faith...YOU catching on now? I hope so. Now my point finally lol, I have let my faith dampen over time lately....until recently GOD gave me a big faith boost...even on horrible days where I can barely walk or function, I STILL keep faith that no matter what the physical eyes see MY faith kicks in  and reminds me NOTHING is forever while we are still here on earth that is. NO matter what your belief system is, FAITH is something WE all should have and actually use it and not merely say it. I personally have faith that the fibromyalgia and other health issues I live with will be healed/cured...and not years from now but no later than the end of this year even. I am going to attach some VERY faith boosting videos to this blog to help YOU...I know if you're reading this...it is not by accident but by divine appointment :-) So NO MATTER WHAT your beliefs are FAITH works...atleast for the GOOD AND POSITIVE...not to have faith for something negative that would be just flat out ignorant honestly...but either way YOU get my point...SO each video ON THIS blog is carefully picked by myself...watch each one and then recollect on what you just viewed/read and SEE how YOU feel and such.... Hi Friends, It has been a super long week ugh! Even though I don't really have any set days off of works and projects. Sunday's are the easiest day and my favorite day of the week..its laid back..usually lol. This week my cell has become a complete piece of bat guano to say the least. So after at least 7 years or more of constant issues with cell phones and plans and such. I am choosing to go complete NO contract and total prepaid. I have did my research YOU folks in a contract may get just one perk that I can think of by being trapped in the contract and that perk is that you get the phone you want at a very cheap price compared to the complete price. So if you want an Iphone5 save up and buy one prepaid or what ever kind of phone you want. By doing this switch 2moro, I will not only be in a trapped contract anymore but will save well over $100 a month. Not to mention have the SAME features and unlimited everything including data. Yes the phone I get won't be the same as the crap phone i have now lol. But I have researched and found one comparable to the Samsung Galax S2,which is the phone that went nuts on me not to mention SPRINT's service in my area is horrible. The New prepaid carrier I am chosing uses At&t and Verizon towers to bounce from..to me this is good lol. I will for sure give YOU a review on the new phone venture lol. Now moving on to the reason I am blogging this late, basically already early today lol. Anywhooo, I want to speak about empathy and the total LACK of empathy that seems to spreading to many and across the world for quite sometime now....As an anonymous English author wrote: "To empathize is to see with the eyes of another, to hear with the ears of another, and to feel with the heart of another." You may wonder why is empathy important?In my opinion the real world bottom line, is that the lack of empathy leads to poor communication and a failing to understand others. Lack of empathy leads to all sorts of problems in our world. I mean seriously LOOK around our world is literally falling apart.....Nations going to war nonstop, innocent people are killed, couples divorce, increase in all forms of crime and violence and so much more horrible things occuring as you read - ALL for a lack of empathy and understanding. It is natural to become angry when frustrated or irritated with people who do or say things at variance our worldview, that may be annoying, a parasite etc. To manage anger, it often helps to see our anger as a combination of their behavior and our actual lack of empathy. While we cannot control other's thoughts, feelings or behaviors, we most certainly can increase our empathy skills. To try and  control our anger with increased empathy, three basic skills are required: listening, self-awareness and acceptance. Empathic listening is a type of listening that goes further than ordinary listening. This type of listening uses another person's point of view to see the world as others see it. It provides a higher level of understanding of how others feel. With what I call "Intuitive Empathic" to me goes deeper than this sort of emapthy...that will be future blog lol. Self-awareness occurs as we better understand our own thoughts and feelings. I believe we are then better able to understand the thoughts and feelings of someone else. The more open we are to our own feelings, the more skilled we become at reading someone else's feelings, and generally the less angry we may feel toward them. Acceptance, on the other hand, is the ability to see that others have a right to their "ridiculous" feelings. We must allow people to have feelings without telling them how they should feel. We cannot stop others from having feelings. Someone with normal emapthy would understand this. When we accept others as they are, it simply means that we understand that they are doing the best they can at the time. Remember, if they could do any better, they probably would. Acceptance of others' feelings is not easy when people act differently than we do. We all have difficulty with those who are different, even if a tiny bit. By tapping into the  skill of empathy, we will be better able to understand ourselves and others. Here are are just a few lil  simple rules I i personally use in addition to other things within myself to be more empathetic.
*Pay attention to the feelings that others express. Watch for both verbal and nonverbal clues as well as body laugnage . Try to understand the message behind the words and actions.
*Place the feelings of other's ahead of your own. Put aside your own needs and ideas long enough to listen to another's point of view.
*Communicate your understanding. Respond or give answers to the messages you receive to show you understand them in a major way if not fully.
* Actually LISTEN not merely just hear.... Let the speaker finish what they are saying before you talk.
*Ask the person to elaborate more or ask for more information. If you still don't understand, ask more questions until you fully understand.

DO YOU LIKE COFFEE?

Hi, Friends...It has been a beautiful day out....full of sunshine but still a bit chilly to me. But I am not complaining at all because I am thankful for even the sunshine lol. Not too much of an eventful day today in my world. I just started quarter 3 today, In the Yoga Regiment that I have started. My little 7 yr old nephew sam attended today also and again lol...this has been his 4th session. I find it very sweet and cute that the lil guy is truly interested in yoga and looks forward to each yoga class....keep in mind he is the only child in the private class I attend lol. Today we did a lot of different poses....but I will save all that for a yoga blog in the near future. Today I would like to focus on one of my addictions...COFFEE lol! Yes that's right I love me some good ol' java everyday. My favorite Local place for coffee is Adam Bros. Coffee&Music house...they give starbucks a run for their money so to speak lol..Adam Bros. Coffee should be nationwide...GOOD STUFF!  Below is a study done by an M.D. about health and coffee. I like what he has to say so that is why I am sharing it with YOU :-)

What does the research say about coffee and health? Is coffee good or bad for You and me?
    Coffee has a long history of being blamed for many ills — from the humorous "It will stunt your growth" to the not-so-humorous claim that it causes heart disease and cancer. But recent research indicates that coffee may not be so bad after all. So which is it — good or bad? The best answer may be that for most people the health benefits outweigh the risks. Recent studies have generally found no connection between coffee and an increased risk of cancer or heart disease. Why the apparent reversal in the thinking about coffee? Earlier studies didn't always take into account that known high-risk behaviors, such as smoking and physical inactivity, tended to be more common among heavy coffee drinkers at that time. However, the research appears to bear out some risks. High consumption of unfiltered coffee is associated with mild elevations in cholesterol levels. And another study found that two or more cups of coffee a day can increase the risk of heart disease in people with a specific — and fairly common — genetic mutation that slows the breakdown of caffeine in the body. So, how quickly you metabolize coffee may affect your health risk. Newer studies have also shown that coffee may have benefits, such as protecting against Parkinson's disease, type 2 diabetes and liver cancer. And it has a high content of antioxidants. But this doesn't mean you should disregard the old maxim "Everything in moderation." Although coffee may not be very harmful, other beverages such as milk and juice contain nutrients that coffee does not. Also, another study shows that men that drink approx: 6 cups of coffee per day have a 60% LESS chance of getting prostate cancer. Finally, heavy caffeine use — on the order of four to seven cups of coffee a day — can cause problems such as restlessness, anxiety, irritability and sleeplessness, particularly in susceptible individuals. I totally agree with Mr. Hensrud study, but personally I think coffee is also a good cleanser in soap due the anti-oxidents and a great scrubber for those sore rough feet.
