STRESS ANYONE?? :-)

                     THE DENNIS KELLY CENTER

Hello Friends! World wide..I say world wide because my insights show what nations my readers are reading from. I must say I am deeply thankful for all the nations that take the time to read my personal blogs. Special thanks just to name a few are the U.S., Russia, Germany, Kenya, Uganda, Slovakia, France, and quite a bit more. For those I have not named I still appreciate YOU ALL equally. So Lately in the Life of ME, On this past tuesday about 4 days ago I under went another Surgery that had to do with the urology system. I am now at home recovering. The surgery was a bit tough this time around but nevertheless GOD willing I made it through. Now...the recovery process is the hardest to me. But I am recovering very well and I am thankful for that. The more rest and time I take for myself, the faster I notice I heal. Also reducing STRESS which is actually the TOPIC of this blog. I wanted to blog about STRESS because every human can relate to it one way or another. AS most of you know it's well known stress is a killer and can cause sooo much unneeded crap. Have you ever been completely stressed about something? I mean, worried beyond repair about a situation or a decision you have to make. I've been there before many times and, let me tell you, it is not a pretty thing. I still deal with daily high levels of stress due to personal life, work life, family, society, and all kinds of triggers. Sometimes occasionally I feel stress is actually killing me. But I have learned several ways to help calm, and collect during overwhelming stressful moments. Deep breathing helps to calm, but personally I have found YOGA, talking to loved ones and friends. Or just sometimes taking a walk in the forest...nature is provides great therapy. I won't go into ALL my Stressors in this blog because now is not the time but perhaps someday I will spill it lol. We all know Stress has a sneaky way of taking over your thoughts and your body and Your LIFE for that matter. Just to give you a brief overview of what I have learned and studied about stress is  the physiological changes you experience when you are stressed out, you can have such physical reactions as elevated heart rate, low energy, headaches, upset stomach, rapid heart beat, insomnia, depression,  and a whole slew of other nasty little problems. But, I'm sure you already know that. Given the fact that 85% of all adult Americans are walking around in a stressed-out state, we are very familiar with the effects of stress, whether we realize it or not want to admit it. So what are we to do about it? What are our options? Some things, like environmental factors are beyond our control. And if these things are part of your triggers for stress, you can do very little about them. But then there are other things that we can do something about, such as finances, children, work, etc. You just have to know how to separate the two categories and act accordingly. If things fall into the "out of my control" category, then you take a deep breath, and plan as best you can and then you let it go. If you truly can't do anything about it, then there is absolutely no reason for you to place your body in a stressful situation. A lot of our stressors fall into this category and yet we still want to continue to worry about them. This is a mistake on our part because helplessness combined with stress leaves you feeling utterly hopeless. Trust me I would be the FIRST to know lol...If your stressors fall into the other category, meaning you can do something about them, then it is always better to attack the problem head on I personally feel. You feel empowered the more you attack the issue(s) (i do anyway) versus shrinking back from it and hiding or masking it with an addicition of sorts. Have you noticed how much more confident and better you feel when you finally do that THING you've been putting off forever because it stressed you out? This same feeling can happen with most, if not all of our stressors as long as you don't give rise to the procrastination issue. Procrastination and apathy has caused more people to be stressed out than any other action from what I have seen and went through. I have seen evidence of this in my own life countless times. I think trying our BEST to be and think positive about EVERY situation is a key also even though it is easier said than done, it is possible. I personally think if we ALL  Decide once and for all to stop procrastinating and to get things done. Even if you/we don't have it all figured out at the moment at hand, begin to act on what you do know and what you do know how to do. Because when you begin to attack that portion of the project or decision, we may eventually get the ANSWERS  that will begin to develop along the way and change our lives for the better. Sometimes the best way to get over stress is to just act. I know that Life will always have stressors...BUT it does NOT mean WE should or have to live in a total state of stress or even become so overwhelmed with it to the point of actual harm to our lives. If you find that dealing with your stress is getting the best of you and you want some additional help in that area, I'd recommend the use of essential oils, herbs, Vitamins and EVERYTHING natural. They are non-habit forming, non-addictive, and they can be used in conjunction with any other medical treatments you may be having. My recommendation is to get your stuff from www.terramaterbotanicals.com They have the best and accomidate the customers needs the best they can. Well my Friends I hope that this little tid bid or ramble lol...helped some. I hate knowing or seeing ANYONE suffer from anything especially so much stress. Thank YOU for stopping by my blog and FEEL FREE TO SHARE, COMMENT BECAUSE I LOVE TO HEAR FROM YOU....YOU CAN ALSO BECOME A FOLLOWER, IT ONLY TAKES ABOUT 2 MINUTES TO SIGN UP AND THATS IT SO IF YOU HAVE THE TIME BECOME A FOLLOWER OF MINE. Some side notes below Is a photo of Donna Douglas and I just days before surgery at a Public event I broadcasted from. She is best known for her role as Elly Mae Clampett from the Hit sitcom The Beverly Hillbillies. Donna Douglas was very sweet and gracious, she seemed to be a very genuine woman. The Event was The Graffiti Car Show...It was hot and lots of people but I enjoyed it. It is the little things in life that make up the BIG things. I also had a chance to Record a few local musicians playing their original song titled "Elly Mae" and they actually got a chance to sing it to her. I recorded it at the Owl Creek Gazette Office on south second st. in downtown Greenville,Il  If you would like to catch that episode where I broadcasted from the event you can catch it on our friend radio show "Creekside w/Don&Jan" It airs every Sunday evening at 7:00p.m. central time on podomatic. Wonder what your purpose in Life is??? Yep, me too :-)

" Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is NO path and leave a trail."-R.Waldo Emerson

Hi Friends here  we are on this sunday evening march third already! WOW time is ticking... I'm starting today with a small affirmation about Lifes purpose...something all of us ponder at some point in life or if your like me quite often lol. Friends ALL of my affirmations are for YOU also, so feel free to say them aloud in the mirror. I know that may sound quirky....but SO WHAT....I am living MY life just like you are living YOUR life.
                                                      In my Journey
"I have PURPOSE here on earth and I will continue to strengthen my direction in life"
At times my direction gets confusing, and I end up floundering around, searching for
my bearing. When I take to remind myself that the Higher power is guiding my journey,
I feel tranquil and at peace....many times through out my life, my energies were blocked
by inability to separate myself from the emotions of others. As I grew older, I began to
take on the feelings of others as though those feelings were my own...I became sad, fatigued
and much more..I even found myself being consumed with busyness. TODAY I will not live
in ANY extremes. I have PURPOSE! I will celebrate the miracle of being alive, and I will feel
the harmony that comes when I channel my energy into ONLY good and positive directions.
HOPE THIS LITTLE AFFIRMATION HELPS YOU TO BETTER UNDERSTAND ME
BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY...YOU.

So now I will share with you how I personally try to Find What the Purpose of Life is For  Me...and I am no expert on life...but I am an expert in caring for others and myself in anyway I am able, so moving on..  What is the purpose of life for you? Finding and clarifying your life purpose and core life intentions can help you to move with greater focus and clarity every day of your life. Especially in these challenging times, setting clear intentions and developing and refining our life purpose can make it much easier to navigate stormy waters. There are many ways to both find and develop your purpose & intentions. This little tid bit of info is to inspire you to be all that you can be and to lead an ever richer, fuller life. Something everyone of us needs...we are ALL on the same planet....we ALL are in human form..A great way that I personally try to start exploring lifes purpose and intentions is to stop for a moment and ask yourself these two key questions:
What is most important to me in my life?  What are my deepest values and beliefs?
Give yourself time to explore these important questions and notice what touches and inspires you most deeply. Write down any answers or thoughts that come to you as you ponder these questions. Then use what you've written as a basis upon which to craft your life purpose and intentions. Consider also inviting the divine guidance and your own inner wisdom to help you with this....Though both can be valuable, there is a difference between life purpose and life intentions. Your life purpose is generally a single statement related to the overall reason that you feel you are here. What is the greater purpose behind your being alive? Why are you here in the world? Life intentions are any number of profound statements about the way you want to live your life. How do you want to be and act in the world right now and in each moment? When you are confronted with major challenges, on what core principles do you want to base your decisions and actions? Both life purpose and life intentions can be rich and valuable in helping to move through the challenges life brings us, though some will prefer focusing on one over the other. If you find this process somewhat challenging, you might do best to focus on one first. Choose whichever feels right and best to you. Later you can always come back and work on the other. I hope this tid bit made a little sense to somebody out there in this dying world in which we live. Feel free to share, comment and so forth. I always love your feedback good & bad....Thanks for stopping by my own personal little spot on the worldwide web. Blessings to You all! ---Dennis

Mind your Mind....

"I've learned that people will forget what you said, people will even forget what you did, but people will never forget how YOU made them feel..."--Maya Angelou
Hi Friends! Today i would like to touch base on how powerful our minds and thoughts truly are. I for one am trying to be a positive person through thick and thin....often very hard to do. But our Minds have a lot of power when it comes to everything we do on a daily task. We focus and think on the negative....well then that is what you'll get....focus on positive and that's what ya get...understand? This is all my personal opinions from life situations. Moving on lets talk about the subconscious mind we ALL have but few use lol....

WE have the power to create the kind of life you want, simply by directing your subconscious mind.
But most people don’t know how to direct their subconscious mind so they have more of what they want. Instead, you may be (unknowingly) directing your subconscious to bring more of what you don’t want. Let me explain how your subconscious mind works.
To understand what your subconscious mind is creating you need to know your beliefs and your regular thoughts.
You subconscious mind gets its directions or instructions from your mind, your thoughts, and your beliefs.
It is what you believe, what you truly feel is real, how you view life and what you consider to be the truth about your life and the world that your subconscious mind creates.
For example: if you believe that it’s difficult to find a job or meet someone then your subconscious mind may guide you to the people, situations and opportunities so that you have a difficult time finding a job or meeting someone.
You may say the wrong thing in an interview, put the wrong thing on a cover letter, pursue the wrong kind of people for a relationship, do the wrong things when you meet someone, etc.
In many ways you may end up sabotaging your chances.
While you truly want to get a job, meet someone, or achieve any other goal, you won’t succeed because you don’t believe you can, you don’t regularly think you can, you don’t regularly feel you can and you think it’s difficult to achieve what you want.
Now I know this isn’t what you want.
You want to enjoy a better life.
So what can you do to turn the tide?
How do you stop the negative spiral?
Start with your thoughts.
Think about your goals.
Write them down.
Then start tracking your thoughts about these goals.
Write down what you come up with.
Do you think you can achieve them?
Do you think you will succeed?
If you don’t think you can, then why not?
What are some of the obstacles you may face?
What are some of the hurdles you see?
Write down everything you come up with.
Then go about your day, do what you have to do and when ever you think about a particular goal, make a note of the thoughts you have that come up.
Go back to your list and update it regularly.
Any negative thoughts that you come up with should be removed, or replaced.
Change them, get rid of them as quickly as possible.
Create thoughts that empower you, thoughts that allow you to succeed and enjoy your life.
Negative thoughts and negative beliefs may create a negative life. They might destroy any chance of success.
You cannot succeed and enjoy life with chronic negative thinking.
Remember, your subconscious mind follows your thoughts and beliefs. It sees them as instructions and simply follows them.
Your subconscious mind can be your great partner in success, when you give it the right care & instructions.
This is all my opinons and observations, I am no expert...But I do have a degree in LIFE lol.
On to today's affirmation about our "inner voice"......
                                            "My intuition is my guide"

I now trust my intuition and let it guide me in enhancing every area of my life. Today I will pay attention to the voice inside, my intuitive self. I will take time to listen, to evaluate and to act appropriately.
My Intuition is a GIFT that bestows knowledge on me when I need it. Right Ideas are always available and waiting in my consciousness to be used for my good. I often silenced my inner voice....as a child my intuition kept me safe and at the same time urged me to express myself. In adulthood I will no longer live with this double bind. So today I welcome my inner knowing and listen attentively. Today I appreciate the creative ideas my intuition brings.....
Thanks Friends for visiting my spot in this big world :-) PLEASE feel free to express your thoughts and such I always like to hear from YOU ALL. Blessings! ---Dennis
