why not Russia...?

Hello Friends, It is now officially summertime! Hot but yet my favorite season besides the spring time. Much as occurred since my last blog....won't go into too much. The surgery I had just days ago was a success now I am in recovery. The Saturday Night Ride radio show is taking off faster than I ever anticipated, Especially the Uncut version of the mainstream show. As we move into season 12 on the Mainstream show, SO MUCH CHANGE is happening daily. It is mostly positive but of course there is a bit of negative. However the positive does outweigh the negative thank GOD. Now today's blog is actually a blog I had prepared months ago and have been waiting for the right time to share it. So since many people will be traveling for summer vacations and such, I chose to touch base on RUSSIA, I know you are probaly wondering why russia? Well inlight of the current world political drama....Personally I still feel it is not only safe to visit russia but a chance of a lifetime. There is so much beauty and unique culture there that NEVER gets talked about on American Mainstream media....Think of their capital building the Kremlin....the building itself is a true work of art...so beautiful! DO NOT let the mainstream news and Political plays/dramas stop you from doing what you desire and or stop you from traveling to a place of your choice within reason obviously. It comes as no surprise that Russia, a country considered to be the largest in the world and beating its closest rival by a huge margin, is a mystery to most people. With an area spreading over 10.5 million square miles, the most people know is what they have studied in textbooks; the Tsars and their bloody rule, Mongolian invasions and the horrifying tales of their looting and Marxists lead revolutions. This is a very narrow view of a country that by sheer mass of its border qualifies as one of the most versatile destinations in the world. However, before embarking on your adventure across Russia, remember to look for the best bargains in airfare as there are quite a few available options.

Some of the places to visit in Russia are:

o Moscow- Russia's gigantic capital. It has numerous tourist attractions for those that crave for a bit of adventure.
o Irkutsk - this popular Siberian city is located at a distance of merely an hour of the breathtaking Lake Baikal on the Trans-Siberian Railway.
o Kazan - for those traveling after a bit of research on Russian history, this capital of Tatar culture offers immense attraction and is in the very center of the Volga Region.
o Saint Petersburg - the city boasts of containing one of the world's best museums, the Hermitage. This historical city is also home to a unique open air museum, its city center. All this makes St. Petersburg a popular choice amongst tourists.
o Sochi - hosts to the 2014 Winter Olympic Games, this is Russia's favorite Black Sea beach resort. It is a virtually unknown destination but that will change drastically after the Olympics.
o Volgograd - once known as Stalingrad, it is the sight of the final deciding battle of World War II. A huge war memorial is erected here to commemorate those that lost their lives.
o Lake Baikal - or as is affectionately called the "pearl of Siberia" it is arguably the world's deepest and biggest lake. 25-30 million years old and home to 2500 animal species it is the perfect destination for those who enjoy nature and crave it.
o Trans-Siberian Railway - seen by some as the longest train track in the world, a tour aboard the train means going all around Asia as well as a good part of Europe.

Several of the travel restrictions imposed specially during the Cold war were lifted in the 1990s making it possible to get a true flavor of the picturesque country. The Siberian town of Ulan Ude is a must see. The restored Tibetan Buddhist Monastery is located here.

Traveling to Russia is quite easy. With over 70 international airports, getting a flight that matches your schedule is no problem. Due to the competition between airlines, cheap airfare is easily available. Daily flights are available to Moscow and St. Petersburg from all over Europe as well as North America and the U.A.E.

There has been a new trend in the behaviour and approach of modern Russia towards foreign tourism. Once hostile to the curious visitors, it now accepts them with open arms

Just a lil random rant...

Hello friends, It has been a busy and cold day to say the least. So I am in high hopes to get this insurance crap situated soon so It stops slowing my schedule down and causing more stress than needed. Lately I have been doing a lot of self-reflecting, I have noticed how I haven't had a Miracle lately...call me crazy but they really do occur, small and large. I with my personal belief system give credit to my creator. However I respect YOU that have other belief systems. We are all still brothers and sisters on this earth. Now most if not all of this blog is directed to the fundamentalist Christians and Believers in Christ. I am pointing out how a GIGANTIC portion DO NOT believe in Miracles....to me miracles are normal and should be expected if one truly claims to be a christian according to the Holy bible...Im not here to bash whatsoever I wanna make that CLEAR friends. I usually don't blog about my faith but today I am pointing out something I have personally noticed through the years when I actually attended a church on a regular basis. I had noticed at many of the churches I had went to they almost all did not speak of MIRACLES, with me personally miracles from my creator is not unusual but feels normal. Anywhoot, so these local churches that I had visited mainly preached on two main things MONEY and SIN....now sin, yea that is ok sometime...we all need a good peptalk...but MONEY and when all the services at the churches seemed to be built on digging in the pockets and constantly pointing out personal flaws instead of building one up...This is when I realized I can worship and have time with my Father without going to some "Church Show" I call it that because that is what they all were just like a play you go watch except YOUR apart of it lol, NOW don't get me wrong there are A Lot of GOOD fruitful, spirit filled churches out there....just be careful of WHICH spirit that church may be operating under. I think an open mind is a must to receive miracles and an open heart, but I think it begins with an open MIND first.
Every Christian/Believer, is at some point affected by church traditions and cultures. Depending on denominational or church backgrounds, we will have different concepts of miracles. This Even goes for other religions that believes in miracles, you still need to have an OPEN mind about it. Many Fundamentalists and even some believers, do not all study the bible by ourselves. Most of the time, we depend upon our elders, bible teachers and "godly" leaders to show us what they THINK the bible says. We make the assumption that they are more knowledgeable than we are and so we simply trust what they have taught. This can be very dangerous in my opinion, Can be good and very fruitful the RIGHT WAY...the Fruits of the Spirit is the KEY to finding the right Spiritual Leader, I personally believe.

Many church traditions have their positive aspects but some of these are producing negative and damaging results. Therefore, it is not whether my church tradition/belief system is better than yours or vice versa. The key is to find out which aspects of  traditions are in line with what the word says about Miracles as well as knowing in your spirit what is right. It is dangerous to simply take things for granted. Man is not perfect.

Simple Definition of Faith: is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.


Hello Friends! I pray and hope ALL is well with each and everyone of you. Things in my world as of lately have been very hectic to say the least lol. So the Radio interview I did with The Anti-War Activist Cindy Sheehan went very good, probably one of the smoothest shows I have done thus far.
The following day on Sunday the 26th of May I attended the Monthly PEACE VIGIL courtesy of the wonderful folks of the OWL CREEK GAZETTE MAGAZINE. The Peace Vigil went great, lots of diverse, interesting people attended and of course I had to bring my lil teacup Rex along lol. Cindy and Her team attended the Vigil also. NONE of this would have been possible if it were not for Don and Jan Stover the Editors/Publishers of The Owl Creek Gazette Magazine, for it was them that not only provided a way for Cindy and her Tour de Peace to come here but they also connected myself with her and the Tour de peace team. So BIG THANKS AND HUGS TO DON AND JAN STOVER!
www.owlcreekgazette.com Moving on to the topic of this blog, as you probably already guessed it is about FAITH...above is a simple definition of what faith is...now Some of YOU may say you don't have faith...well here is a generic example of faith in action....Say every morning when you wake..you use the restroom and the toilet flushes properly....Well without realizing it YOU used faith...YOU had faith that the toilet would flush proper after use. Or without hesitation Most of us jump in our vehicles expecting them to start right? OK then That's another generic example of faith...YOU catching on now? I hope so. Now my point finally lol, I have let my faith dampen over time lately....until recently GOD gave me a big faith boost...even on horrible days where I can barely walk or function, I STILL keep faith that no matter what the physical eyes see MY faith kicks in  and reminds me NOTHING is forever while we are still here on earth that is. NO matter what your belief system is, FAITH is something WE all should have and actually use it and not merely say it. I personally have faith that the fibromyalgia and other health issues I live with will be healed/cured...and not years from now but no later than the end of this year even. I am going to attach some VERY faith boosting videos to this blog to help YOU...I know if you're reading this...it is not by accident but by divine appointment :-) So NO MATTER WHAT your beliefs are FAITH works...atleast for the GOOD AND POSITIVE...not to have faith for something negative that would be just flat out ignorant honestly...but either way YOU get my point...SO each video ON THIS blog is carefully picked by myself...watch each one and then recollect on what you just viewed/read and SEE how YOU feel and such.... Hi Friends here  we are on this sunday evening march third already! WOW time is ticking... I'm starting today with a small affirmation about Lifes purpose...something all of us ponder at some point in life or if your like me quite often lol. Friends ALL of my affirmations are for YOU also, so feel free to say them aloud in the mirror. I know that may sound quirky....but SO WHAT....I am living MY life just like you are living YOUR life.
                                                      In my Journey 
"I have PURPOSE here on earth and I will continue to strengthen my direction in life"
At times my direction gets confusing, and I end up floundering around, searching for
my bearing. When I take to remind myself that the Higher power is guiding my journey,
I feel tranquil and at peace....many times through out my life, my energies were blocked
by inability to separate myself from the emotions of others. As I grew older, I began to
take on the feelings of others as though those feelings were my own...I became sad, fatigued
and much more..I even found myself being consumed with busyness. TODAY I will not live
in ANY extremes. I have PURPOSE! I will celebrate the miracle of being alive, and I will feel
the harmony that comes when I channel my energy into ONLY good and positive directions.
HOPE THIS LITTLE AFFIRMATION HELPS YOU TO BETTER UNDERSTAND ME
BUT MORE IMPORTANTLY...YOU.


     So now I will share with you how I personally try to Find What the Purpose of Life is For  Me...and I am no expert on life...but I am an expert in caring for others and myself in anyway I am able, so moving on..  What is the purpose of life for you? Finding and clarifying your life purpose and core life intentions can help you to move with greater focus and clarity every day of your life. Especially in these challenging times, setting clear intentions and developing and refining our life purpose can make it much easier to navigate stormy waters. There are many ways to both find and develop your purpose & intentions. This little tid bit of info is to inspire you to be all that you can be and to lead an ever richer, fuller life. Something everyone of us needs...we are ALL on the same planet....we ALL are in human form..A great way that I personally try to start exploring lifes purpose and intentions is to stop for a moment and ask yourself these two key questions:
What is most important to me in my life?  What are my deepest values and beliefs?
     Give yourself time to explore these important questions and notice what touches and inspires you most deeply. Write down any answers or thoughts that come to you as you ponder these questions. Then use what you've written as a basis upon which to craft your life purpose and intentions. Consider also inviting the divine guidance and your own inner wisdom to help you with this....Though both can be valuable, there is a difference between life purpose and life intentions. Your life purpose is generally a single statement related to the overall reason that you feel you are here. What is the greater purpose behind your being alive? Why are you here in the world? Life intentions are any number of profound statements about the way you want to live your life. How do you want to be and act in the world right now and in each moment? When you are confronted with major challenges, on what core principles do you want to base your decisions and actions? Both life purpose and life intentions can be rich and valuable in helping to move through the challenges life brings us, though some will prefer focusing on one over the other. If you find this process somewhat challenging, you might do best to focus on one first. Choose whichever feels right and best to you. Later you can always come back and work on the other. I hope this tid bit made a little sense to somebody out there in this dying world in which we live. Feel free to share, comment and so forth.
